Neal Land & Neighborhoods Stock the Library Shelves at Local Elementary School
PARRISH, Fla – (Oct. 3, 2019) – Neal Land & Neighborhoods, developer of North River Ranch, a 2,600-acre master-planned community in north Manatee County, donated more than $10,000 worth of scholastic books to the new Barbara A. Harvey Elementary School, located across the street from North River Ranch community.
To commemorate the opening of Barbara A. Harvey Elementary, introduce the community and demonstrate its commitment to the surrounding community and education, Neal Land & Neighborhoods and North River Ranch donated over 750 Scholastic books to help stock the library’s shelves.
Schools today must rely strictly on donations, fundraising, and grants to stock their libraries, which can sometimes take years to complete. John A. Neal, principal of Neal Land & Neighborhoods, read to students and presented a check for $10,680.75 to Principal Hayley Rio.
Education Connection
All great communities have great education networks, and North River Ranch will feature exceptional opportunities for learning in every stage of life. Recognizing the need for good public schools in the area, the Neal Land & Neighborhoods team was instrumental in facilitating the development of the new Parrish Community High School and the Barbara A. Harvey Elementary School, both which opened to students in August 2019 within walking distance of North River Ranch.
A state college campus is also planned, making North River Ranch a new educational mecca for north Manatee County. The community’s miles of trails create other educational opportunities about healthy lifestyles, space for outdoor classrooms and other launch points for lifelong learning.
