North River Ranch and Neal Land and Neighborhoods present our 2nd Annual family-friendly race that includes both a chip-timed 5K as well as a 1-mile fun run. You’ll race through the NRR ‘Greenway’ and interconnected paved trails within one of Manatee County’s top master-planned communities. The route is primarily paved trails and sidewalks, with a few small sections which are gravel. All participants will receive a t-shirt and swag bag and 5K participants will receive a participation medal.
Charity:
Proceeds from this race will support the Parrish Fire District. The Parrish Fire District is an Independent Special District located in northern Manatee County. The district provides fire protection to 10,000 residents over a predominately rural area, with one fire station, 12 career firefighting personnel, 4 staff employees, an average of 10 reserve responders, and 2 volunteer fire officers. Event details and schedule:
The race will take place in the North River Ranch community, which has a main entrance at the intersection of Moccasin Wallow and Fort Hamer Road in Parrish. Parking and check-in will be at Dash’s Dog Park, located within the community. Once you enter the community, follow the signage and it will guide you into the race start/parking.

Packet pick-up will be held Thursday and Friday, February 15 & 16th from 4-8pm at the Brightwood Pavilion within North River Ranch (11510 Little River Way, Parrish). Packets not picked up during this time can be picked up the morning of the race. Packets will not be mailed.
