Welcome to North River Ranch
So much has happened at North River Ranch in just a year! Everything is coming to life in new and exciting ways. We’re happy to share a quick roundup with you. Our line-up of builders includes Centex, KB Home, Park Square Homes, Homes by WestBay, David Weekley Homes, and Neal Communities. All 11 models are now open for you to tour and see with your own eyes the beautiful designs and modern features in these gorgeous new homes.
Land development continues to make great progress as well. You can see the most change to our Brightwood neighborhood– from road paving last year to rooftops this year, plus progress on the remaining 230 homesites. Note the headway and ongoing development in Riverfield, too. Ft. Hamer Road has been completed and is now open from Erie Road to our south through our Riverfield neighborhood, and north of our main entrance at Moccasin Wallow Road. Further, Riverfield Verandah has progressed from a mere plan to a (nearly) completed second pool. Over 120 homeowners have already moved into their new homes and are enjoying the amenities and making new friends. A third neighborhood Wildleaf is also on the way. This new neighborhood will bring an additional 380+ single-family and villa homesites in late 2021/early 2022. We are committed to create new neighborhoods to meet the needs of our home builders and their buyers.
On any given day at North River Ranch, hundreds of workers, from engineers to construction crews to county inspectors, are on site. They have been working hard daily to meet the increasing demand for new single-family homes in the area. So, it’s no wonder why eager buyers are flocking to North River Ranch. Our new community also includes lush landscaping and countless new trees. We’ll have over 60 species of trees and plantings throughout the community to create a verdant, vibrant atmosphere.
We were also honored in the 2021 Parade of Homes for Best Overall Development, and David Weekley Homes won Best Floor Plan for their Captiva Model Home. The accolades continued with the Best in Sarasota peoples’ choice Silver Award for Best New Home Community from SRQ Magazine!
Our amenities have just as much momentum behind them. We’re adding even more Avid FitStations to complement the existing FitPod and the wide array of active amenities from the early stages of the Greenway trails, (a total of 20 miles when completed) and pathways, community bike share, resort-inspired pools, parks, playgrounds, and event lawn. The focus at North River Ranch is to encourage active lifestyles in every way. Fitness is for everyone here. We’re already planning on future amenities and activities for 2022.
Fun events are taking place in our beautiful new community as well. Kids and kids at heart are loving the on-site NRR FunDay events so far! They include Wacky Wednesdays at the Brightwood Pavilion with summertime science experiments, food trucks, poolside adventures, Meals on Wheels donation drives, support for Step Up Suncoast, Adopt-A Road-Program to Keep Manatee Beautiful, and lots more. Future plans call for farmer’s markets, and an array of programs and events for the whole family are coming soon. A real sense of community is coming together and ready for you at North River Ranch.
